Check out the new Net10 Three Cents per Minute Plan.

Net10 Wireless has always offered 10 cents a minute, PAYG (pay as you go) for service. For the last couple of years you always got 300 minutes and 60 days of service for free when you activated your phone. The cost of phones and minutes has changed, the minutes are continuing to get much less expensive. They now offer you Monthly plans that offer additional minutes per dollar spent. You can also continue to purchase with the inexpensive PAYG plan they have always had.

Net 10 Wireless New Pricing.

$15 a month–Purchase a $30 sixty day PAYG card and get 300 units.

6.66 Cents a minute
$20 a month–Buy a $60 90 day PAYG card and get 900 minutes–only available at Net10 Wireless.com

3 Cents a Minute
$25 a month–Purchase a $25 Monthly card and get 750 minutes –Only available at Net10.com

Unlimited Minutes
$50 a month–Purchase $50 Monthly card for unlimited minutes, text/picture messaging, web, email, 411 calls. Only available at Net10.com

New Net10 Cellular Phone Pricing

You are still able to get some phones with 300 free minutes. They Some of the phones are now provided with the 750 minute or the Unlimited Monthly plan included. Not all of the phones come with 300 free minutes. Be sure to take a look at the fine print when getting a Net10 Wireless phone to be sure you are getting free minutes. You can purchase phones starting at $14.99 but the phone will be a better deal if you spend $25 and get a phone that “Includes 300 Minutes and 60 Days of Service upon activation.”

Roll Over with Net 10 Wireless

Roll over with Net 10 has changed. The $25 and $50 Monthly cards do not roll over time or minutes.

So if you purchase a Net 10 Cellular “Monthly” Card you will get 30 days to use your 750 or Unlimited minutes. If you purchase a Payg Pay as you Go minute card like the $30/60 day card then your service time and minutes will roll over but you must keep your service active.

The PAYG (pay as you go) cards do roll over minutes and service time.

Changing Plans with Net 10 Cellular

If you want to change from Pay as you go to Monthly service there is no extra charge. You can switch back to PAYG simply by adding another pay as you go card. Don’t forget the Monthly cards do not roll over. Once you add a card with monthly service your previous card will become invalid.

Net10 Prepaid Monthly Card Warning

If you are making use of the Monthly service plan and you add on an additional card your current balance will not carry forward. For instance if you have 100 minutes and 12 days left and you add another 750 minute card you will just end up with 750 minutes and 30 days, you will not end up with 850 minutes and 42 days.

You will spend at least $15 per thirty day period to keep your Net10 Wireless phone active.

Who is Straight Talk Prepaid Wireless?

Straight Talk Wireless is a partnership between Verizon, Tracfone and Walmart. The phones will only be sold at Walmart and online at Straight Talk.com. All Straight Talk phones use the Verizon Wireless network.

Straight Talk Prepaid Motorola Razr and Samsung R451c phones.

Straight Talk has just started offering Two very inexpensive prepaid cell phone plans.

The $45 Unlimited plan includes unlimited calling, unlimited texting, unlimited data downloading to your phone, and unlimited 411 calls.

The $30 a monthly plan “All you Need” includes one thousand minutes, one thousand texts and 30 meg of data per month. If you run out you can just add another card so if you are using 1500 minutes a month you will use one and a half cards a month which comes to $45 or you can go to the $45 unlimited plan.

Cell Phone Reception
The cell phone reception will be good because your phone will be on the Verizon network which is the largest (or second largest) in the United States.

So Should you Quit your Cell Phone Contract?

If your contract is over $45 a month and you can get out of it without paying a large end of contract charge then the answer is yes. If you are not a heavy user of a phone and the $30 a month plan will work for you then you should also change to Straight Talk. The $30 “All You Need” plan is a way better deal than most contracts that start you out with 400 monthly minutes and at least a $40 a month charge after taxes.

For most people one of the Straight Talk monthly plans will be the best value Cell Phone service available.

The major cell phone companies have raised there rates significantly on texting. I think there are a couple of reasons. Some People that text a lot do not talk much. The Network companies want to get as much revenue out of heavy users as possible.

Here are some Prepaid Texting Options

Alltel Prepaid Texting
Alltel has been bought by Verizon. Alltel has a plan that you can choose unlimited texting for 75 cents per day. Verizon will probably eliminate this plan when the takeover is complete.

Net10 prepaid Texting
Normally Net 10 charges .5 units to text. If you buy one of the Super Net 10 phone 5 cent minute deals you can get minutes for 5 cents which means you will get texts for 2.5 cents each.

Net 10 is offering an Unlimited Plan that is $80 for 30 days. This plan is payable in advance for one month on your charge or debit card. You get unlimited calling to anyone and unlimited text messages to anyone for the month. You can start or stop this plan without a penalty.

Tracfone Prepaid Texting
Tracfone normally charges .3 units per text. They do not have an unlimited texting plan.

Verizon Prepaid Texting
Verizon has an unlimited texting prepaid plan. If you pay an extra $10 per month you can get unlimited texting to other Verizon users. If you pay an extra $20 a month you can get unlimited text messages to any cell phone. You will be charge 99 cents per day for using your Verizon Pr
epaid Phone in addition to your monthly texting charge.
